(W)orking (F)rom (H)ome: LET’S PIVOT TOGETHER

The way we live, work and socialize has drastically shifted in the past few weeks and is continuing to change every day. During this time, we understand it can be difficult to feel connected, motivated or productive while working from the comfort of your home. We are all figuring out how to adjust our lives to fit this “new normal.” The Pivot Point Consulting team wants to help support and encourage a healthy WFH way of living so that we can all pivot together.

Planning ahead and allowing for a ‘mental break’ to become a part of your daily agenda will help to ensure a healthy work/life balance. Check out some of our favorite ways to prioritize and devote time during our hectic schedules to disconnect, unwind and restore our minds:

1. LET JOHN KRASINKSI BRIGHTEN YOUR DAY.

The Office star, John Krasinski, or better known as Jim Halpert, has created a YouTube channel entirely dedicated to sharing positive stories and responses from his fan base. His intention is to share light with the world during this unprecedented and incredibly trying time. With the help of his daughters, Hazel and Violet, they named the channel SGN, or “Some Good News.” Whether The Office is on your list of binge-worthy Netflix shows or not, SGN is guaranteed to lift your spirits.

2. LIVING ROOM YOGA.

Namaste, everyone. On Wednesdays, we’ve made it to the halfway point, so how about some yoga to refuel and recharge for the remainder of the week? Join our parent company, Vaco, on Facebook Live for a 20-minute flow class that’s sure to get you through the home stretch.

3. BUSINESS AS USUAL.

Working from home (WFH) has its advantages – but for those new to it, some handy tips and tricks can go a long way. Watch this 20 minute webinar for tips to keep it business as usual when WFH. We will cover strategies to boost productivity, engagement and overall WFH success.

4. THE RIGHT HEADSPACE.

Several apps you can download, including Headspace, are specifically designed to help you take a breath and relieve stress. Try going on a walk and logging out of your work email but logging into your Headspace app.
