Lucero joins Focus Search from joins Focus Search Partners from Cisco Systems where he served as the lead Executive Talent Acquisition Leader for the Americas. Since 2014, Paul has led executive searches in Sales, Marketing, Collaboration and Customer Experience Services throughout the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Lucero brings to Focus Search Partners a deep understanding of internal client hiring processes, a reputation for closing difficult search assignments and building succession planning programs.

Prior to joining Cisco in 2014, Paul was the Managing Partner of P&L Consulting, LLC, an executive search provider focused on the enterprise software industry. P&L Consulting, LLC was a recognized Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) and member of the Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Paul has completed executive search assignments across sales, marketing and business development roles at leading software companies such as SAP, McAfee, VMware as well as numerous early stage software providers. Paul also served as a strategic advisor to several startups. Prior to creating P&L Consulting, Paul managed Sales Recruiting for i2 Technologies and was Director of Talent Solutions at Hudson Global Resources.
