Pivot Point Consulting and Hiteks Solutions today announced a multi-year alliance agreement that brings together distinct capabilities for hospitals and physician users. Through its suite of services, Pivot Point Consulting will now be offering the Salient suite of solutions that can be deployed through any EHR system. Initially Pivot Point will focus on deploying Hiteks’ Salient Scribe, Alerts and Education solutions through the Epic NoteReader module. Hiteks’ Salient engine has the ability to power Epic’s NoteReader module in the 2014 version of EpicCare as a third party vendor solution.
Salient helps optimize the EHR by supporting NoteReader’s ability to give physicians immediate feedback to their clinical documentation at the point of care by highlighting the important terms in their Note and pre-populating any new Problem, Medication and Allergy terms after reconciling them with the structured lists.
