Pivot Point Consulting and San Francisco Community Health Center Partner to Deliver Better Care to Medically Underserved
New system helps providers offer more effective care to Homeless, LGBTQ+ Community.
NASHVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 2, 2022 – Pivot Point Consulting, a Vaco Company, and recognized 2022 #2 Best in KLAS: Overall IT Services Firm, today announced the full deployment of OCHIN’s Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system at San Francisco Community Health Center, a nonprofit with two clinics and a dozen providers dedicated to the integrated healthcare needs of underserved communities.
According to the National Center for Biotechnology Information, San Francisco’s medically underserved Asian American and Pacific Islander community (MUAC) is the largest in the United States. Two San Francisco Health Center clinics specifically address the needs of this community as well as homeless and LGBTQ+ populations in San Francisco. These locations provide primary care, dental care, transgender health, HIV/STD testing, behavioral health and mobile healthcare on the street in the heart of the city, among additional services.

The OCHIN Epic EHR technology enables the two community clinics to access, organize, store and share electronic medical records with other local Epic hospital partners. Pivot Point Consulting brings expert strategy, resourcing and project management services to their OCHIN partnership and this EHR transformation initiative.
