Pivot Point Consulting will be in attendance at the 2013 ANIA Annual Conference in San Antonio, Texas on May 2nd – 4th. Their annual conference is recognized as one of the top events for nursing informatics professionals. ANIA is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the field of nursing informatics. It offers its members resources that enrich their roles in the field of Nursing Informatics. The ANIA’s Mission is to provide networking, education and information resources. The goal is to enrich and strengthen the roles of nurses in the field of informatics.
The theme for this year’s ANIA conference is, “Navigating the River of Data to Wisdom” and will feature speeches by Dr. Kevin Fickenscher, President/CEO of the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA), Dr. Linda Burnes Bolton, Vice President, Nursing, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and Judy Murphy, Deputy National Coordinator for Programs & Policy for the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT, HHS.
