The Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter of the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society is a professional organization for healthcare and IT professionals in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex providing leadership, professional development, education, and networking opportunities.
This is the 5th Annual Regional Conference for the Texas Region and they are anticipating 400+ healthcare IT professionals to attend. The theme of the 2013 Conference is MISSION: POSSIBLE! Keynote speakers for the event include Mayor Julián Castro, Martin S. Kohn, M.D., M.S., FACEP, CPE, FACPE, Chief Medical Scientist for Care Delivery Systems in IBM Research and more. Key topics include Stage 2 of Meaningful Use, how to drive clinician adoption and improve clinical outcomes through information technology.
