Kevin J.P. O’Hara Joins Board of Managers

Bellevue, WA & Chicago, IL – July 23, 2013 – Pivot Point Consulting (Pivot Point), an innovative healthcare IT firm, today announced that Kevin J.P. O’Hara has agreed to join the newly formed Pivot Point Board of Managers and has purchased an 11% equity stake in the firm. Mr. O’Hara has been instrumental in the strategic development and capital raising efforts of a number of early stage and growth companies (see full biography below).

About Kevin J.P. O’Hara

Mr. O’Hara currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University Law School, is Chairman of the Kevin J. P. O’Hara Family (Charitable) Foundation, and is a private equity and real estate investor. He sits on several boards of directors and boards of trustees, including ITG (NYSE listed: ITG) and Fippex Operations, LLC (Point Drive). In addition, he is a member of the advisory board of Quadriserv, Inc. In addition, Mr. O’Hara was CEO of Trading/Exchanges Division of Gulf Finance House (Bahrain/UAE) in 2008-2009. He served as the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of CBOT (Chicago Board of Trade) Holdings, Inc. O’Hara held this position from 2006 to 2007. (CBOT was acquired by CME in 2007.) He was employee no. 11 and served as Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Archipelago Holdings, Inc., from 1999 to 2006. Additionally, he served as Executive Vice President and Co-General Counsel of NYSE Group, Inc. in 2006. (NYSE acquired Archipelago in 2006.) Further, Mr. O’Hara worked in Romania and Lithuania from 1995 to 1999. During this time, his focus included capital market infrastructure development for private consulting firms Financial Markets International and Pragma Corporation. He worked as a civil prosecutor in the Division of Enforcement of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission during 1991-1995 and as Special Assistant United States Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice. Previously, he practiced law at the Chicago firm of (McGuire Woods) Ross & Hardies from 1988 to 1991. Mr. O’Hara earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and B.A. from the University of Chicago.
